Yay me!

Sometime during the last 24 hours, this humble blog received its 50,000th visit since its inception back in January this year. Not absolute unique visitors though, that is hovering somewhere around 27,000 or so. I don't know which metric is more important. Dammit Jim, I'm a web designer not an SEO specialist.

Still, I'm pretty happy though. Yay me! And yay you! All you 27,000 or so dirty-minded giantess/shrunken men fans.

  1. Yay you!

*sound of crowd cheering and fireworks going off*

(Just so you know, over 1,200 of those visitors have moved on to visit my blog so far, so yay me too!)

50,000 is quite the handsome number, but I doubt those visits are only by dirty-minded fans.

    Uh-huh, right.

I love looking at those visitor stats, and imagining what it's like to be in Saudi Arabia or Iran and have these fantasies.

It also makes me giggle when I see a visitor that obviously visited my blog expecting something entirely different (like a recipe) and then they see these collages of giant and little people getting it on. Heehee!

Honestly, I wish Wordpress had the filter screen warning thing as Blogger does.

    Congratulations!

  2. Thanks Undersquid! Yes, visitor stats are just too much fun. I don't know how many visitors end up coming to my blog for something other than large-woman on small-man fun, since I don't post on any other topics.

Among other interesting demographics breakdowns, around 27,000 of these 50,000 have only visited once. About 10,000 have visited more than 10 times, while there's a truly hardcore group of around a thousand who visit almost every day, bless your hearts.

To all my hardcore readers, I'm sorry if I don't get to post as often as your expectations dictate.

Still, I can't help but wonder if the single-visit numbers are skewed by people clearing their cookies and generally being sneaky.

BTW, the filter screen warning thing giveth but also taketh away. Since I've installed it, the referrer stats have been seriously messed up, so I don't really know where most traffic is coming from anymore.

  3. Congrats, Trinket. My blog is about to hit the 100,000th visitor. It doesn't tell me how many are unique, and I know I have a lot of regular readers.

It's fun to see the spike when I put up a giant woman post and put links on the Shrine and the City.

  4. Thanks, Matty Boy. And congrats to you too, on your imminent admittance to the 100k club. I don't post links on the forums though, maybe I should. Because of the lack of referrer stats now, I have no idea why my traffic spikes when it does. It's a bit disconcerting, not knowing what is going on out there causing certain things to occur on this small corner of the internet.

  5. Congrats. This is my first visit and I think your work is wonderful. Sexy and erotic without being vulgar. I all but gave up on looking for new GTS material years ago because it was all the same - and not very good. Keep it up GREAT stuff.

  6. Hi Anonymous, thank you! There are plenty of other artists out there doing great work, some of them linked from my blog here. Make sure you check them out!
