Tea for Two
(Or a Short Digression on Ergonomics)

Just like in your world, there are standard heights and sizes for a lot of things in ours, just different. This is because the relative size difference between women and men in our world is a lot larger, so certain things have to be made either smaller or larger depending on their purpose.

The average woman in our world stands 6' tall, with the shortest around 5'2", while the tallest woman stands 7'2". Dwarfism and gigantism don't exist. Since ideal women in our culture are tall and athletic, most of the women you'll see in my pictures are taller than average, standing around 6'3" to 6'8". The average height of men is 3'9", spanning heights from 3'2" to 4'4". Most women in our world prefer smaller men though, so most of the men who are employed as models are shorter and slimmer than average, standing around 3'4" to about 3'8". The girl in this picture is 6'4" while the boy is 3'8".

Most objects in our world are the same size as in yours, with a few exceptions. Even now, it is widely thought that a man's place is in the kitchen, so many kitchen arrangements are a lot smaller in our world. Kitchen counters are 2' tall rather than 3', refrigerators are shorter and less deep so that men are able to use them, cooking implements such as pots and kettles are smaller and lighter, among other differences.

Most other things are the same size and weight in your world though, so heavy doors and gates, large chairs and other things still pose a challenge for many men, while many other things, such as cars, are impossible for men to operate by themselves.

P/S I'm trying out a new image tag, one which allows me add the image title as well. I will probably be doing this only on my recent images and not on my older ones.
